Specialized infrastructure for premium vehicle aftersales

Porsche in Chile has added a specialized body repair and paint center for premium vehicles, developed and operated by Inchcape Chile following an investment of USD 2 million. The facility is designed to meet the technical and quality standards required by the brand at an international level.

Context of the cooperation
The increasing technical complexity of premium vehicles, including hybrid and electric models, requires aftersales infrastructure with dedicated equipment, controlled processes, and highly qualified personnel. In this context, Porsche and Inchcape Chile have collaborated to develop a workshop dedicated exclusively to body and paint operations for Porsche vehicles.

The cooperation enables the centralization of critical repair processes, ensures traceability of interventions, and maintains alignment with procedures defined by the manufacturer’s headquarters in Stuttgart.

Infrastructure and technical solution
The new workshop is located in the Lo Boza area of the Pudahuel district and comprises 5,000 m² of built area, complemented by 10,000 m² of secured outdoor space. The facility incorporates pressurized, sealed paint booths, lighting tunnels, and endothermic radiation systems, designed to ensure precision in repair and finishing processes while maintaining controlled cleanliness and safety conditions.

The operational processes are structured to replicate factory-defined technical criteria, ensuring consistency in structural geometry, surface finish, and overall repair quality. The infrastructure is intended to optimize repair lead times without compromising Porsche’s technical requirements.

Operations, sustainability, and integration
The workshop operates on a fully electric model, uses water-based paints, and is supplied with certified renewable energy. It is also certified for the repair of hybrid and electric vehicles and includes EV charging stations. Direct operational links with national insurance companies further support an integrated aftersales service offering.

These elements allow the facility to deliver a comprehensive aftersales solution, combining structural repair, paintwork, advanced diagnostics, and compatibility with modern powertrain architectures.

Capacity and applications
The workshop has an initial capacity of up to 350 vehicles per month, with plans to increase throughput to approximately 450 vehicles in the coming months. Operations focus on accident repairs as well as corrective maintenance requiring specialized body and paint processes.

From an operational perspective, the new facility strengthens Porsche’s aftersales network in Chile, improves the availability of advanced technical services, and consolidates a service model aligned with global standards for quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
