NTN: ECE R90-APPROVED SNR BRAKE DISCS

Used in automotive applications, the ECE R90 standard regulates the quality and performance criteria of brake discs and pads.

Based on European or United Nations directives, its provisions are mandatory and apply to a series of automotive parts. Those parts must meet OE and aftermarket specifications. To gain approval, the parts are tested and must satisfy all road safety and environmental protection requirements. If a spare part is ECE R90-approved in one country, that approval automatically applies to all countries subject to these regulations.

As required by the regulations, all brake discs must comply with the ECE R90 standard. To obtain this approval for our brake disc range, a whole series of tests and quality controls were incorporated during the product testing phase.

Whether in the laboratory or on the road, the 35 SNR kits that include a bearing and a disc hub have proven their performance, their quality and their compliance with the market. As a result, they comply with the performance level of the original part, qualifying them for approval by an independent body.
