SemsoTec: certified according to IATF 16949
High additional requirement of the automotive industry fulfilled.
SemsoTec Group and its employees are pleased to officially meet the additional requirements of the automotive industry according to IATF 16949:2016 since July 16, 2021, which was successfully confirmed by the external certification.
With the successful certification, SemsoTec thus proves the fulfillment of the high requirements for product and process quality as well as its quality management system.
The automotive sector is an important sales market for the SemsoTec Group. It was therefore out of the question for SemsoTec to undergo the complex and time-consuming certification process: An investment of internal company resources in the future, because securing the certificate will have a positive long-term impact on the company's growth.
IATF 16949 builds completely on DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and strengthens the process-oriented approach to quality management. The SemsoTec Group thus meets requirements for risk assessment and the resulting risk management. The group of companies with its three locations in Garching, Cham and Brno constantly keeps an eye on the possibilities for continuous improvement of the processes and evaluates the value of the company's internal knowledge even higher in the future.
With the successful certification, SemsoTec has once again positioned itself as a competent and reliable partner to the automotive industry. In addition, the company is now also of interest to customers in other markets.
In addition to the many years of experience in the manufacture of smart optical control units, these customers also benefit from the company's efforts to continuously develop and optimize its processes.
