Phoenix Contact E-Mobility joins the German Federal Association for eMobility (BEM)

The Bundesverband eMobilität e.V. (BEM), the German Federal Association for eMobility, aims to replace mobility with e-mobility in Germany through the use of renewable energy.

The key objective of the BEM, which is to boost Germany’s adoption of e-mobility through the use of renewable energy, goes hand in hand with Phoenix Contact’s goal to use the company’s products and solutions for an All Electric Society. “It was a logical step for us to join the BEM and continue on this journey by working closer with manufacturers of charging systems, the users, but also the OEMs,” Heinemann goes on to explain. “Many of the things that have been defined for traditional combustion engines still need to be created for the e-mobility market. This is what we want to do and will do in the future together with the BEM.”
