After just one year from the successful launch of the first generation of 3.0evo, which has obtained a great consensus in market for its great performance and reliability, the new product named 3.0evoST (SmartTouch NFC) sets the new state-of-the-art in the industry, and introduces a big technological gap from competition using the traditional RF/LF technology.
The italsensor 3.0evoST, like the 3.0evo, is configurable & programmable through RF/LF, and shares the same vehicles application list as well as the Ready4_BMW/Mercedes function; however, it is programmable & configurable in milliseconds thanks to the built-in NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, commonly available on smartphones.
The key advantages of NFC are the speed in data transfer (sensor is configured in 0,5 sec), and the total absence of interferences which ensures only the sensor physically “touching” the device is getting programmed, and not any other sensor nearby located. These advantages are relevant for wheel assemblers who need full traceability and efficiency in process. Italmatic has developed a specific industrial solution for wheel assemblers, to exploit the best value from NFC technology in their industrial process. At the same time, also normal tyre shop professionals and TPMS re-sellers can take advantages because of the new and smart way to program sensor: simply installing a free Italsensor app (through Google Play) on their own NFC enabled Android devices, they will be able to program and test the sensor.
As a result, no investment in tools is necessary (the owned smartphone might be used), and no licence fee is to be paid periodically to keep the database up-to-date. For those professional users who need, instead, to program daily a larger quantity of sensors, an Italsensor PC solution will also be available to support the NFC features.
The italsensor 3.0evo and 3.0evoST variants share the same type of valves and service kits, including rubber, aluminium silver, black and the newest titanium grey to match the actual wheels finish.
