Industry First: Anritsu Achieves EN 18052:2025 Certification for Hybrid eCall Evaluation

Anritsu Corporation has announced that its Hybrid eCall evaluation solution, centered on the eCall Tester MX703330E, has become the industry’s first solution to obtain EN 18052:2025 certification. The certification was awarded following independent testing by cetecom advanced, confirming reliable end-to-end validation of Hybrid eCall systems operating across 2G and 3G circuit-switched and 4G packet-switched networks.

This milestone enables automotive OEMs and suppliers to validate Hybrid eCall systems more efficiently in accordance with European regulatory requirements, ensuring robust emergency call performance across mixed and evolving mobile network environments.

About Hybrid eCall
Hybrid eCall technology combines high-speed 4G (LTE) packet-switched communication with conventional 2G (GSM/GPRS) and 3G (W-CDMA) circuit-switched networks. The system automatically selects the optimal access technology to maintain emergency call continuity.
