From September 13-27 Hengst Filtration presents its broad portfolio of filtration solutions for passenger cars and commercial vehicles, as well as agricultural and construction machinery at Automechanika in Frankfurt/Main, in Hall 4.0, Booth A71.
Hengst Filtration is “The SMART Alternative” when it comes to high-quality, long-lasting and innovative filtration solutions. The Münster-based company’s expertise is in demand both as a development partner and OEM for leading automotive manufacturers as well as for top brand-name quality products for the independent spare parts market. The company presents its comprehensive product portfolio for cars and utility vehicles, as well as agricultural and construction machinery from September 13-17 at Automechanika Frankfurt, in Hall 4.0, Booth A71.
“Our smart OE-quality products have withstood the test of time in diverse applications. We are very much looking forward to presenting an expanded range of filtration products for numerous different customer groups at Automechanika,” says Oliver Nabrotzky, Group Vice President Aftermarket Sales. The diversity of more than 3200 products speaks for itself. In addition to standard filtration applications in motor vehicles, the company will also present industrial air filtration solutions as well as hydraulic filters for mobile off-highway applications for the first time at this year’s trade fair.

Hengst Filtration has long been in demand as a partner and supplier of the agricultural and construction machinery sector. The TCD 4.1 and 6.1 Agri in-line engines from Deutz, for example, are equipped with an oil filter module with a heat exchanger and water pump from Hengst as standard equipment. The engines are installed for example in tractors of the Deutz Agrotron series as well as the Fendt Vario 500, 700 and 800 series. The Hengst Energetic® filter insert E470H D28 is used as a standard service part.
In addition to the E470H D28, Hengst now also offers the E470H01 D28. The decisive advantage of the new product is the service interval, which is doubled to 1000 hours. This optimization is due to a new high-performance medium with improved dust absorption capacity and higher resistance to chemicals.
The Blue.maxx modular system is just one of many highlights at the Hengst booth.
Blue.maxx: Fuel filtration at a new level
Modern diesel engines have stringent requirements for the purity of diesel fuel. In view of widely varying fuel qualities around the world, efficient filtration is all the more important. That is why Hengst developed the Blue.maxx, an innovative modular fuel filtration system. Three versions are available: Blue.maxx 200 (up to 200 l/h), 300 (up to 300 l/h) and 450 (up to 750 l/h). To cover all customer requirements, the basic variants can be equipped with innovative add-ons in combination, which are available with different components such as a heater, filter insert, adapter set or water level sensor. Thanks to various adapter sets, Blue.maxx can easily be retrofitted in commercial vehicles and agricultural or construction machinery.

In the USA, trucks are not only designed for long-distance driving, but also have to withstand the challenges of changing weather conditions. Above all, the engines are subjected to extremely low temperatures. The latest generation of Daimler's heavy-duty DD15Gen5 engines meets these requirements by delivering a boost in performance and reducing downtime. The oil-coolant module from Hengst features improved filter properties to achieve longer service intervals of up to 150,000 kilometers. What is more, the module also offers an extremely high functional density and brings about significant savings in fuel. The compatible oil filter for the aftermarket is the E523H D373 and is supplemented by the E445KP D314-2 fuel filter, the E2060L air filter and the E2986LC01 cabin air filter.
