The Filderstadtwerke are converting workshop vehicles for field service to electric drives. In order not to let the employees freeze in cold months and still ensure the necessary range of the vehicle battery, they retrofit the Range Plus system from Webasto.

From a new hybrid heating and hot water system to two new refrigerators from the Freeline Slim range Webasto, the supplier of thermal solutions, will be presenting its extensive portfolio for mobile traveling at booth A60 in Hall 13.

Innovation, collaboration and inspiration brought together in one car: Webasto has integrated a total of 25 sensors from Bosch, together with multiple additional functions, into the roof of a joint technology demonstrator.

Webasto’s business in the field of electromobility solutions – especially battery systems – is growing more successful by the day. The supplier is exhibiting its product portfolio at the Battery Show Europe in Stuttgart.

From June 21 to 23, 2022, Webasto will be exhibiting its comprehensive portfolio of charging solutions for private and commercial users at booth 224 (hall 5) at the E-world energy & water exhibition in Essen, Germany.

A textbook example of successful transformation on four wheels: Webasto and the Lotus sports car brand are ushering in a new era of electromobility and automated driving. The new, all-electric Lotus Eletre is packed with systems expertise from the German Top 100 automotive supplier.

Webasto, systems partner to the electromobility sector, will showcase a special highlight at Booth 560, Hall B6 at this year’s Power2Drive. Vestel, a crosssector manufacturer of electronics and mobile technologies among others, together with the innovative automotive supplier, will introduce their first joint product, the smart wallbox Webasto Unite.

In this year’s surveys conducted by the magazines Auto Bild, auto motor und sport and Auto Zeitung, over 150,000 participants voted for Webasto as the best parking heater brand. The company has now won the “triple” for the sixth consecutive time.

In April and May, Webasto is inviting electrical fitters to attend a series of three consecutive online seminars (45 minutes each). During these seminars Stefan Hirzinger, electrician, utility engineer and charging expert, will offer detailed information and tips on installing charging stations – in German.

Thermomanagement expert Webasto is expanding its range of rooftop air conditioners for caravans and motorhomes with its new Cool Top Trail 28. The model offers a cooling capacity of 2.8 kilowatts and is suitable for vehicles of up to 8.5 meters in length. It is extremely compact with external dimensions of 85.5 x 65.7 x 21.5 centimeters (L x W x H), allowing flexible installation on the vehicle’s roof. The unit’s housing is made of UV-stabilized polypropylene, making it extremely robust yet lightweight, at just 35.5 kilograms.
