Founded in September 2016 and headquartered in Munich, Germany, the 5G Automotive Association (5GAA) is a global cross-industry organisation advancing connected mobility across the automotive, technology and telecommunications sectors. It develops end-to-end solutions based on C-V2X and its evolution towards 5G-V2X, addressing road safety, automated driving and intelligent transport. Through technical requirements, architectures, testbeds, interoperability, standards and spectrum activities, 5GAA supports scalable deployment. Its global community brings together vehicle manufacturers, suppliers, mobile operators, chipset providers and infrastructure vendors.
