Johannes Bornmueller is the new Senior Director for HR, Legal & Compliance at NSK. With over 20 years of experience, Bornmueller previously held senior HR positions at international technology companies in sectors that include automotive and chemical.

A number of key improvements to the online engineering tools provided by NSK, a global leader in motion control solutions, serve to boost the work efficiency of customers.

NSK will use the forthcoming InnoTrans 2024 international trade fair for transport technology (Berlin, 24-27 September) to showcase how its innovation in bearings can help the European rail industry keep pace with growing consumer demands. Among the technologies on display at Booth 270 in Hall 20 will be the company’s latest bearing solutions for high-speed passenger trains.

Following the completion of performance evaluations, NSK can now offer a broader range of anti-electrical-erosion technologies for eAxle bearings used on electric vehicles (EVs). Among the new options are over-moulded bearings and conductive brushes, elevating NSK's ability to meet diverse demands from automotive OEMs as they look to combat electrical erosion and, in turn, improve reliability and extend EV range.

NSK’s new ultra-smooth motion technology, developed for the company’s popular general-purpose NH/NS series linear guides, is the world’s first design of its type. Thanks to the use of elastic rolling elements, the patented technology achieves a highly consistent dynamic friction profile that is ideal for high-precision inspection and measurement equipment.

Processes such as drilling, milling and grinding require linear and rotary motion solutions that offer impressive performance and exceptional quality.

EMO Hannover 2023 (18-23 September) will provide NSK with a platform to showcase its latest advances in this important technology area. Notably, the company’s 120 m2 booth (Booth C42, Hall 7) will shine the spotlight on several ball screws making their exhibition debut in Europe.
